KOTA KINABALUL: UMS Investment Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UiNVEST), a wholly-owned company of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and JZTW International Sdn Bhd has signed a consultancy agreement to conduct a Consumer and Stakeholder Survey: A Study of the Greater Kota Kinabalu Area, recently.
To undertake this project, the JZTWISB has appointed consultants from UMS led by Senior Lecturer, Dr Phang Ing Grace and Associate Professor Dr. Zaiton Osman as co-researcher.
UMS in a statement said the agreement was signed between UiNVEST Group Chief Executive Officer, Ramlan Awang Ali and JZTWISB General Manager, Ken Lei in the presence of Dr Grace as well as other representatives from JZTWISB and UiNVEST.
“The success of this collaboration goes beyond science and knowledge,” Ramlan said.
He said they were also looking for more business opportunities to strengthen pragmatic cooperation between Malaysia and China in fields such as tourism, property, investment and technology to achieve complementary and common development of the two countries.
Meanwhile, Ken Lei thanked UiNVEST for the collaboration and he looked forward to build a more effective platform in Malaysia, especially Sabah for greater development for both countries. – SabahNewsToday
