Dilahirkan tanpa tangan dan kaki namun Tiyo Satrio yang berusia 11 tahun, belajar berdikari. Dia yang berasal dari Jawa Barat, Indonesia ini, bukan calang-calang budak malah seorang yang hebat dalam permainan komputer.

Dengan menggunakan dagunya, dia belajar mengawal alat kawalan untuk bermain playstation dan kini menjadi ketagih dengan permainan berkenaan.

Tiyo akan menggunakan peluang yang ada untuk bermain dan ternyata dia lebih hebat daripada rakan-rakannya yang normal lain.

Dia kini belajar di sebuah sekolah khas dan berada di tahun dua. Tiyo sepatutnya belajar di tahun empat, namun persekolahannya sebelum ini terhenti disebabkan keadaan dirinya itu.

Setiap hari gurunya akan membawa Tiyo menaiki motorsikal ke sekolah dan di sana Tiyo akan menggunakan kerusi roda untuk bergerak.

Menurut ibunya, Mimi, dia tidak menyedari akan keadaan anaknya itu ketika mengandung dan hanya mengetahui mengenainya selepas Tiyo dilahirkan.

“Ketika dilahirkan, bidan memberitahu semuanya normal dan Tiyo pula sihat. Saya melahirkan Tiyo pada tengah malam dan hanya dimaklumkan akan keadaannya itu pada tengahari keesokannya,” katanya.

Meskipun terkejut dengan keadaan Tiyo namun dia menerima takdir anaknya itu.

Mimi mempunyai empat anak yang lain dan memandangkan mereka telah dewasa maka anak-anaknya itu berada di seluruh negara. Hanya tinggal Mimi, suaminya, Satrio dan Tiyo sahaja di rumah mereka.

“Kami tidak boleh kemana-mana kerana terpaksa menjaga Tiyo. Jika kami bekerja, siapa yang akan menjaganya,” kata Mimi.
