Sabah 360 Tour ended today

KOTA KINABALU- Sabah 360 Tour has ended today and welcomed by Sabah Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Haji Tawfiq Bin Abu Bakar Titingan at the DBKK building yard earlier this morning.

In his speech, Tawfiq urges the society to support the activity or program organized by PVATM to appreciate their sacrifice and contribution towards our state and country.

“Thus, I hope through this simple program, cycling tour by Retired Captain Zulkiflie will be able to open the eyes of the Sabahans that we need to thank the security team especially those who retired,”
said Tawfiq.

The tour participated by Retired Captain (B) Zulkiflie Ibrahim, 46 and his friend known as Mr. Lawani, 64 that started  on May 19th.

Sabah 360 Tour has taken 15 days and almost 1,500km surround Sabah before it reaches the finishing line.

The tour has crossed Kota Kinabalu, Kota Marudu, Kampung Rukun Laut Pitas, Kampun Sungai-sungai Paitan, Kampun Ulu Sapi Beluran, Kinabatangan, Lahad Datu, Kunak, Tawau, Kalabakan, Tibau, Sook, Tenom, Sipitang and Papar before coming back to Kota Kinabalu.

“For your information, the tour is named Sabah 360 Tour for we were circling Sabah by using the longest route,” according to Zulkiflie.

He added, Sabah 360 Tour is more challenging compared to his previous tour because of the hilly landform and the raining season.
