KOTA KINABALU: Tan Sri Musa Aman is finally back to Malaysia after disappearing on May 11 apparently seeking medical treatment overseas.
“Tan Sri Musa has arrived in Malaysia to address all outstanding issues despite health concerns,” said his media liaison officer, Awang Faisal.
Awang Faisal’s statement was issued just before 10pm following reports that Musa has arrived in Subang, Kuala Lumpur earlier this evening.
According to him, Musa is currently being examined and monitored by his team of physicians at an unnamed private hospital in Subang Jaya.
He has given his full cooperation to the authorities and will continue to do so despite health concerns and against his doctor’s advice in order to attend to his obligations, said Awang Faisal.
“On behalf of Tan Sri Musa, I wish to thank all well wishers who have prayed for his speedy recovery,” he said.
Immigration Director-General, Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali had earlier confirmed that Musa’s plane has landed at about 6.45pm at the Subang Airport today.
He said the former Chief Minister of Sabah could not come to the immigration counter for documentation but everything had been done accordingly.
He said the police and relevant authorities had also been informed about the movement of Musa.-SabahNewsToday
