KOTA KINABALU: The government is open to set up cooperation with various parties in achieving its vision to become a high-income nation by the year 2020 and improve the country’s industrial sector.
The cooperation between the government and the Federation of Sabah industries (SFI) is focused on issues affecting the community as an initiative to achieve the vision.
The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, said the government will open opportunities at all times to work together with SFI.
“Industries should take strategic moves to help in adding revenues especially in the current unstable economy situation,” he said.
He said the construction of the Pan Borneo Highway will give local companies to get involved directly in the construction industry.
