TENOM: Tenom MP, Datuk Raime Unggi, wants the communities in the parliamentary to untie and work together to preserve the wellbeing of their villages.
He said a village must have a quality leadership among its village chiefs, JKKK chairpersons, committees, and members.
“This will ensure the village to be peaceful, clean, and well developed for the benefit of all,” he said during officiating the gotong royong programme at Kg. Abul, Kemabong, recently.
Raime said the current development in the national politics is challenging, especially when the public are exposed with various kinds of information which can be manipulated by certain quarters for their own interests.
“Do not be easily influenced by the opposition’s propaganda against the government, since the government is always there to help the people.
“We all know that the opposition is using the social media to change public perception against the government. Be cautious and investigate first all information spread in the social media,” he added. –SayangSabah
