Utilise education facilities: Jaujan

SEMPORNA: The public should appreciate the country’s leadership for providing excellent education facilities for their children’ education, said the Sulabayan State Assemblyman (ADUN), Dato’ Dr. Haji Jaujan Sambakong.

He said, the facilities provided by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government is not only for the pre-school, primary, and secondary school, but also for tertiary education level.

Students and parents must not neglect these facilities provided by the BN government for the nation young generations’ future,” he said in SMK Bugaya II for presenting school equipments donation, here yesterday.

The donation is a contribution by the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, Datuk Haji Mohd. Shafie Apdal, who is also Semporna Member of Parliament, consisting of books, chairs, desks, and stationeries.

Two schools are the recipients, including SMK Bugaya I with a total cost of RM70,000, benefitting some 300 students from both schools.

Jaujan, who is also Semporna Division UMNO Vice Chief, said the nation education system is one of the best, with many students from other countries choose to further their studies in Malaysia.

In this regard he wants the public to provide their children with the best education.

For the students, they must study dilligently and utilize the education facilities provided by the government for them.” he stressed.

Jaujan said, students need to make education and knowledge as their main agenda to improve their families’ living condition.

With higher education and knowledge, a better standard of living is guaranteed at the face of a challenging future, he added.

Life is wasted when a person has no education. This is a jihad for education,” he stressed, adding that Malaysian citizens in Semporna need to strive for education.

Also present at the ceremony are the school principals, Semporna district education officers, district council members, Parent Teachers Association (PIBG) committee members, parents, and fellow students. – SayangSabah
