KENINGAU: Sook Community Development Leaders Unit (UPPM) is at the ready to help in providing necessities for SMK Tulid’s student hostel and help the school to solve its lack of equipment for its hostel facility.
Assistant Minister for the Chief Minister, Datuk Ellron Angin, said currently they are waiting for the full report from the school and upon its completion, relevant necessities will be supplied immediately.
“As soon as we receive the report from the school management, necessary assistance will be channelled immediately,” he said to the media after visiting the school with two officers from Keningau Education Office (PPD), in Monday.
At the same time Ellron who is also Sook Assemblyperson, suggests for the government to upgrade the school’s hostel by giving better infrastructure.
“Hopefully there will be upgrade, since the hostel facility is in poor condition and in need of repairs and additional equipment,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the school management has submitted its full report to Keningau PPD regarding the situation and hopes that action will be taken soon to solve the problem. –SayangSabah
