KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government today received more than RM550,000 from the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (Maiwp), the
Pilgrims Fund Board and the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) for repair of mosques and surau in the state.
The contribution from the three bodies was handed to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom at the Chief Minister’s official residence here.
Jamil, in his speech, said the contribution was raised by Tabung Haji and also from donations collected at mosques and surau in the federal territory.
