KOTA KINABALU: The Sessions Court set 7 and 8 March for the trial of three men who denied managing a brothel.

Lau Kahy Cheng, 41, Chok Ka Loong, 28, and Chin Chen Kok, 30, pleaded not guilty before Judge Ainul Shahrin Mohamad for the charge under Section 373(1)(a) of the Penal Code which carries the punishment of 15 years jail maximum and a fine, if found guilty.

All of the accused were represented by their defence attorney Hairul Vaiyron.

According to the case fact, they allegedly committed the crime at Wong Kwok Commercial Centre, Jalan Bundusan, around 8.55pm in 8 August last year.

The prosecution applied for the trial to be set on earlier date since the case witness is a foreigner.
