LABUAN: The Labuan, Keningau and Kota Kinabalu district police stations have shown tremendous achievement in combating crime and overall
positive performance in police administration.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abd Rahman said the three district police stations had achieved their key performance index (KPI) with
manageable and controllable crime cases over the last few years.
“Despite a lower crime index in the three districts, the police personnel regardless of their rank have shown their full commitment and dedication. To me, these three district police stations have shown high performance,” he told a press conference after delivering his keynote address to the Labuan police force here today.
He reminded the police force to avoid “sweeping cases under the carpet” by not resolving reported cases.
“We must be natural in discharging our duties. We are duty-bound to resolve every case reported and we must receive cases although it is a small case, it does not matter it won’t jump up the crime index,” he said.
