KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Health Department has launched ‘Promosi Kesihatan Demam Denggi’ Programme in several shopping complex in Kota Kinabalu to create awareness among the public in controlling as well as preventing dengue fever.
Health Education Officer, Mohd Idahan M. Anuar, said the programme is in conjunction with the Mega Operation which aims to reduce dengue cases in the state.
“The programme was launched on early February and it will continue until the end of March,” he told SayangSabah, here today.
According to him, they have organized the awareness programme in several shopping complex surrounding Kota Kinabalu.

The programme will inform the public on how to eradicate the breeding grounds for Aedes mosquitoes, as well as distributing pamphlets about dengue prevention and giving ABATE insect repellant, he added. – SayangSabah
