“We fully support the leadership of the present Chief Minister in helming the State, “he said during a mock cheque handing ceremony to the Chairman of the State Disaster Relief Committee, Tan Sri Sukarti Wakiman in aid of flood victims in Sabah.

Gan led a delegation comprising SUCCC chamber chiefs from 24 districts throughout Sabah for the ceremony witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman at his official residence in Sri Gaya yesterday.

Meanwhile, Musa commended SUCCC effort in assisting those who have been severely affected by the recent floods.

“I hope more Chambers and NGOs will emulate your initiative because every little bit helps. This is also a way of showing your cooperation and contributing back to the people,” he said.

On other note, the President of Federation of Hakka Association, Sabah & Labuan Datuk Jimmy Tham Yuk Leong who was also present said that the State Government has been taking care of the Chinese community’s needs.
