KUALA LUMPUR: The weatherman has forecast strong winds and rough seas in the waters off three districts of Sabah and Labuan until July 4.
The Meteorological Department said in a statement today that south-westerly winds of 40km to 50km per hour and waves as high as 3.5 metres were expected to occur off the Interior, West Coast and Kudat districts.
It said these conditions were dangerous to small craft and sea recreation and sports.
It also said that strong south-westerly winds and rough seas were expected to persist in the waters off Condore, Reef North, Layang-Layang, Palawan and Labuan until July 4.
The department warned that the strong winds and rough seas would pose a danger to shipping and beach activities, including fishing and ferry services. – BERNAMA
