KOTA KINABALU: The Tenom district office has yet to receive any reports on property damage due to a storm which swept through the district this evening, said Tenom District Officer, Madiyem Layapan.
However, he said initial information showed several public facilities such as the clinic and private properties were damaged when roofs were blown off by strong winds.
“I am still waiting for official reports on property damage experienced during the storm which blasted the district at about 3 pm. The strong winds peaked at 4.40 pm,” said Madiyem.
Madiyem advised Tenom residents to lodge police reports on any property damage suffered during the storm. – BERNAMA
