Start business with little capital – SAPAWI

KUDAT – Small capital is not an obstacle in becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Sabah Foundation Director Datuk Sapawi Ahmad said determination and systematic financial management are elements for one to succeed.

“Success is not entirely depending on capital but determination, commitment and the ability to manage the business financial,” he said during a dinner event with the recipients of the loan scheme for women entrepreneurs (SPPKW), today.

Sapawi informed that the scheme was introduced in 2004 as Entrepreneur Development Fund to help those who are interested in running their own business.

He added that apart from giving loans, Sabah Foundation also provide training and consultation service to the participants.

He also disclosed that there is a plan to open the scheme for men applicants, as the current scheme is only open for women. – SayangSabah
