PUTATAN: SK Pendidikan Khas Tuaran (SPKT) today received three braille machines and four units of exercise equipment worth RM6,000 from Telekom Malaysia (TM) Sabah.
The facilities were handed over to SPKT by TM Sabah’s general manager Sukkuriya Masri during an excellence award presentation ceremony at the school here today.
Sukkuriya said the latest contribution was part of TM Sabah’s corporate responsibility programme (CSR) to assist one of its twelve adopted schools nationwide.
“This is the second programme we have at SPKT since adopting the school in 2011. We will be providing assistance in the form of funds, Information and Communication Technology equipment and other facilities to the school every year,” he told reporters at the school here.
