Soldiers join search for children

KUALA LUMPUR: Eleven soldiers today joined the search for three children who were swept away while fishing in Sungai Puyoh near the Sungai
Besi Army Camp here yesterday.

The soldiers, based at the army camp, joined the search team at about 9 am and were looking for the children at a rubbish trap near the hockey stadium in Bukit Jalil, said Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue assistant director (operations) Azizan Ismail.

The children, Remy Julian Raymond Joe, 14, Joe Jerry, 12, and Josnual Usin, 9, were among eight children who had gone to fish at the river when they were swept away at about 5.30 pm. – BERNAMA
