KENINGAU: The issue of old and damaged mattresses at SMK Tulid hostel is considered solved thanks to the new supplies of 200 units of new mattresses and pillows that will be channelled by N.37 Sook Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM).
Its officer, Charles Ikang, said they have ordered the necessary items as soon as they received the full report regarding on the problem from the school management.
He said the ceremony for pillows and mattresses contribution will be officiated by Sook Assemblyperson, Datu Ellron Alfred Angin, this 12 January (next Tuesday).
“The new mattresses and pillows for the school’s hostel students is funded fully by the DUN representative’s special allocation,” he said in a statement for the media, yesterday.
