SIDMA College to introduce new strategy to handle PTPTN issue

KOTA KINABALU: SIDMA College is to change its policy and introduce a new strategy which will give positive impact for the college in its educational programmes.

Its chairman, Prof. Dr. Morni Kombri, said the moves are needed to ensure the college remains relevant in education industry and it will take immediate action to implement the moves.

“A few changes on the policy will give impact to education sector especially regarding on the reduction of National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans, and we will take necessary steps to overcome the problem,” he said when met at the monthly gathering ceremony and SIDMA College Chinese New Year celebration, here today.

Dr. Morni also said that several new programmes will be introduced this year  will be launched with the collaboration of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UniTAR) and several corporate bodies.

In other development, SIDMA College is also focusing on new students intake for the new semester February 2015 for Management, and Children Early Education diploma programmes, as well as degrees in Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, and Business Administration. Registration is open until 22 March. – SayangSabah
