SHAREDA ‘moving forward and beyond’

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) will hold its 37th annual dinner on July 31, at the Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort here.

SHAREDA honorary treasurer-general Wesley Chai Meng Kong said the event themed ‘Moving Forward and Beyond’ will be attended by some 1,000 guests including Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor as the guest of honour.

Wesley who is the organising chairman told a press conference yesterday that during the evening they will contribute a sum of RM92,500 to Sabah Anti-Tuberculosis Association (SABATA) which will receive RM10,000 to build four units of single storey resthouse for outstation TB patients and their families seeking treatment in Kota Kinablu.

And RM85,000 to the families of the four mountain guides who perished during the earthquake in Ranau on June 5, and Persatuan Malim Gunung Kinabalu for its members who lost their livelihood, he said, adding that the contribution is the continuous commitment of SHAREDA to discharge its corporate social responsibility.

The guests will be entertained by The Metalist-David Lai; The Akoustik Connexion live band and The Dance Academy as well as the chances to win lucky draw prizes for return air tickets for two persons to Tokyo, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok, he said.-Sayangsabah
