KOTA KINABALU: The people in the state are urged to get enough information on real estate and properties that they wish to acquire and avoid from facing losses in the future.
Deputy Chief Minister cum Minister of Industrial Development, Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, said the launching of the Malaysian Secondary Property Exhibition (MASPEX 2015) is one of the platform for would-be buyers to get information on secondary properties that they want.
Raymond also said the community in the state prefer to buy secondary properties more than premier real estates.
“In 2014, Sabah has recorded 8,926 transaction covering 5,122 transaction for home buying, 1,277 for commercial lands, 1,704 for agriculture lands, 528 for lands for development, and 295 for industrial sites,” he said.
Raymond was speaking during the launching of MASPEX 2015 at Suria Sabah Complex, this evening.
Also present were the President of Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA), Erick YT Kho, and Maybank Malaysia Community Financial Service Chief, Hamirullah Boorhan. –SayangSabah
