KOTA KINABALU – According to Kota Kinabalu Mayor, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, Sabah motorist coupon parking system has improved tremendously since Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) has given 14 days notice to settle the compound for failing to display parking coupons.
“Motorist will be compounded RM 30 a day if they failed to settle the compound in 14 days,” he added.
He said they had done two months survey to gain motorist feedback on the new CPS implementation.
“The overall responses were positive. Based on the survey, 90 percent of the motorists have no issues or problem with the new CPS. A majority of them have agreed with this new system implementation.”
DBKK will keep implementing the new CPS since they never received negative responses from the motorists here.- By Saila Saidie/Sayangsabah
