Registered New Youth Club receives RM1K ‘gift’

PUTATAN – Youth associations that register for the first time with the Registrar of Societies will be entitled to receive a one off incentive worth RM1,000 from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan at the Kick Start of the 4th President Cup Futsal Carnival at Juara Sports Village Ketiau, here today.

“The ministry will also give an addition of RM5,000 grant to newly registered youth club for them to use in their programme and activities,” he said.

Tawfiq stated that youth need to use the opportunity as this would benefit them and the community in Sabah.

“I hope that this initiative can be a platform for youth to carry out programmes that will benefit them tremendously,” he said. – SayangSabah
