KOTA KINABALU: The government is prepared to accept any public inquiry or complaint on issues pertaining to the people’s welfare, said Sabah Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid.
She said the government had provided numerous facilities to enable the people to make enquiries and complaints concerning the welfare of the people.
“The government is always concerned about the people’s wellbeing. Numerous channels are provided for the people to obtain information.
“The people must utilise the opportunities provided to clear whatever doubt they have instead of enculturing the spread of nonsensical messages containing incorrect information,” she said at the launch of the program ‘Sunday Family Ride’, here today.
The cycling program, held on the first Sunday of each month, was launched by Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak aimed at strengthening family ties and doing group exercises.
Government departments and agencies also participated in the program, held at Teluk Likas, near here from 5 am to 9 am to facilitate the people to get further information on various efforts and welfare assistance implemented by the
