TAWAU: Parents involvement in their children education programmes will motivate them to thrive for excellence in self development.
Sabah Assistant Minister of Resource Development and IT Technology, Datuk Hamisa Samat, said it is crucial for parents and guardians to participate in their children academic programmes organize by the schools and government.
“The presence of parents and Parents Teachers Association (PIBG) members in an educational programme for their children will increase their motivation,” she said in her speech for officiating SK Bandar PIBG Meeting, in Tawau.
Hamisa who is also Tanjong Batu State Assemblyman (ADUN), stressed that there is no shortcut to achieve success especially in education.
According to her, parents must should not become materialistic and neglect their responsibility in their children development who needs proper guidance.
“We must not become materialistic. Education and care for the children must be prioritized so they can inherit and continue what we have achieved now,” she added. – SayangSabah
