KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today hosted a luncheon in conjunction with the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a leading hotel here.
Several cabinet ministers, among them Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam, who is also MIC president, Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa attended the luncheon.
Earlier, both prime ministers inaugurated the Torana Gate in Little India Brickfields, which is a gift from India to Malaysia to symbolise the friendship of both countries.
Modi, who is on his maiden official visit to Malaysia after assuming his post last year, arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, to attend the 27th ASEAN
