KOTA KINABALU: Philippines’ contestant, Cindy Madduna, was crowned Miss Scuba International 2015 with two other titles, the Miss Marine Conservation and Best in National Costume.
Second place was taken by a contestant from Venezuela, Kiara Aiella, who also won the Miss Congeniality, and in third place is Tessa Placek, from USA. Miss Photogenic and Miss Best in Talent were won by contestant from Latvia, Ilze Jankovska.
Contestants also held a visit to orphanage and took part in promoting the No Shark Fin campaign.
The beauty contest was held at Magellan Sutera Harbour, last Friday, with the participation of 18 countries.
All contestants are appointed as scuba ambassadors to promote marine conservation and preservation efforts. -SayangSabah
