KOTA KINABALU: PETRONAS will distribute 880,000 cups of hot coffee for its PETRONAS Coffee Break Campaign which will be held in 16 fuel stations across Sabah this 6 to 7 February and 13 to 14 February.
LPG Chief of PETRONAS International and Commercial Trade Berhad, Lu Jia Lih, said the campaign is to raise awareness among consumers especially drivers on road safety.
“This the 17th times the campaign has been launched, and we hope that through its implementation the message about road safety and the importance of a good rest before driving are delivered,” he said during the campaign launching at Jalan Lintas fuel station, Kepayan, this evening.
He added that the campaign this year received a unique touch compared to the previous year, where an additional 40 stations have been added to the 142 stations nationwide this year, and the coffee will be served fresh.
“In previous years, we gave canned coffee, but this year, it will be fresh and can be directly consumer by drivers who made a stop at fuel stations along the main highway,” he explained.
