KENINGAU: Malaysia Royal Police (PDRM) community in the state are urged to be economical in their water, cooking gas, and electricity consumption to reduce utility bills.
Sabah Police Commissioner, Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, said it is not only necessary for the police community in the state, as PDRM's expenditures across the country need to be reduced by five percent if the agency is to achieve the targeted Key Performance Indicator (KPI). “What we need to do is to spend wisely, and organize meetings with a reasonable budget.
“In organizing Community Police programme, we also need to be responsible with our spending in each programmes,” he said when met by reporters after his working visit at Keningau District Police Headquarters, today. In this regard, Jalaluddin also calls for Keningau IPD to participate in PDRM vision to reduce utility bills and achieve its KPI target, as recommended by the National Police Chief. - SayangSabah
