KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian Ex-Military Association (PBTM) of Sabah wished to raise up to RM250,000 for its 2015 Warriors Day Fund.
Its President, Zaman Haji Bayang, said the collection has been started while the fund will be officially launched before the end of this year.
“The money will be used specifically for PBTM family members only,” he said to the media after giving a courtesy visit to the Sabah Head of State, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Haji Juhar Haji Mahiruddin, at the Istana Negeri, this morning.
Zaman also said the organization’s members in Sabah alone has reached five thousand individuals, with PBTM Sabah will continue to increase its membership to fifteen thousand in the near future.
Previously, Tun Juhar consented to receive a courtesy visit from the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Datuk Seri Panglima Madius Tangau.
Madius in his comment said it is his first visit after being appointed as the new minister for MOSTI.
He also informed Tun Juhar on several plans and programmes by MOSTI for Sabah. –SayangSabah
