NABAWAN: Kedamaian Assemblyperson, Jeremy Malajad explained that him joining Barisan Nasional (BN) via Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) is due to his realization that only BN can bring progress to the people.

He said his inclusion in the BN frontline is also blessed by the people who voted him under the PKR ticket in the last general election.

Communities in Kedamaian, he said, also understand that only BN can bring development especially in rural areas.

“I decided to join BN because I see that the opposition coalition that I was in cannot do anything in bringing development to the people of my constituency,” he said during a programme with local community at Kg. Tataluan Sepulut, last Sunday.

The event was officiated by the Minister in the Prime Minister Office cum Pensiangan MP, Tan Sri Joseph Kurup.

Jeremy who is also PBRS Vice President said he left PKR because he has lost confidence with PKR and Pakatan since they have no clear principles to stay united. –SayangSabah
