KOTA KINABALU – The StudyMalaysia Education fair held at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, today will feature 50 exhibitors.
The event will open until tomorrow with free admission its Executive Director, Tan Mui Hong said.
The two-day fair will feature higher learning institutions and hoped to accord students and parents the opportunity to meet representative of government agencies to discuss accredited programmes and matters pertaining PTPTN study loans, skills qualifications in country as well as study opportunities at community colleges.
He said the fair will provide student and school leavers as well as their parents with useful information on courses ranging from pre-university, bachelor degree levels to postgraduate studies through various routes such as home-grown programmes, 3+0 degrees, twinning degrees (2+1), distance learning, studying abroad and overseas degrees (at foreign university branch campuses in Malaysia).
“Everyone is invited to visit the fair. Students who have completed SPM, STPM, UEC or presently in Form 5 and parents are invited. This fair is extremely informative particularly in helping students plan ahead,” he said.
“School leavers can register for a course of study on the spot. All they need is result slip, IC and other relevant documents,” he said.
