KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco) has built 17 business premise units under the 8th Malaysia Plan (RMK-8) and RMK-9 for its first and second phase projects at Kg. Paris Tiga, Kinabatangan.
Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, said all the business lots are now fully operational.
“As to meet the public demand, for RMK-11, Sedco has applied for allocation to build another 10 business premise units,” he said at the state legislative assembly.
He was responding to the question raised by Datuk Saddil Abdul Rahman (BN-Sukau) regarding on Sedco plan to build new shophouses at Kg. Paris Tiga, Kinabatangan, to replace the old wooden shops in the area.
Raymond who is also the state Minister of Industrial Development, explained the planned premises will include six two-storey terrace buildings and four half-storey terrace units. – SayangSabah
