KOTA KINABALU: All issues concerning Barisan Nasional (BN) can be brought up for discussion Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman said.
“In BN nothing should be beyond resolve. We should keep an open heart and open mind in dealing with any issues,” he said after meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan at Musa’s official residence in Sri Gaya, here, today.
He said it was important for all parties in BN to maintain the coalition’s strength and unity.
“Problems will occur every now and then within a family and that’s normal especially if the family has many members,” he said.
Musa who is also Sabah BN Chief said even within a party, there are internal politics and issues will arise consequently.
“But how we deal with such issues is crucial. My approach has always been discussion and try to find a solution that is reasonable and acceptable to all concerned,” he said.
Musa said Pairin had raised a few issues during the meeting which he would address accordingly.
He also noted that while it is normal for politicking to happen it should be minimized.
“As elected representatives our focus should be on improving the welfare of the people,” he said. – SayangSabah
