SANDAKAN: The district’s Municipal Council (MPS) Enforcement Unit has confiscated counterfeit goods believed to be made in China during an operation launched at BDC Market, Batu 1 ½, on Tuesday.
Its Deputy Senior Enforcement Officer, Sairin Abdul Rahman, with six other officers seized goods such as clothes, electronics, handbags, and medicines including sex stimulants during the operation.
He also reminded unlicensed traders not to sell their their wares anywhere in the town area.
Saidin said the MPS Enforcement Unit will no hesitate to take stern action including confiscating their goods and issued a compound to any traders who go against the council enactments.
The seized goods will be handled according to the Small Enactment By Law 59 MPS General By Law 1955. – SayangSabah
