KOTA KINABALU – The Rotary Healthcare Day received an overwhelming response from applicants for the 50 free wheelchairs distribution.

In the effort to help and give back to the community; the seven Rotary Clubs of Kota Kinabalu (Group 18) is helping by giving free wheelchairs to the needy and poor.

According to the Rotary Club, all of  the wheelchairs have been reserved and Rotary is now collaborating with Sabah Cheshire Home on the possibility to increase the number of wheelchairs.

The wheelchairs will be presented during the Rotary Healthcare Day on April, 18.  Apart from that there will also be a distribution of financial support to selected NGOs or associated with Rotary Clubs in Sabah.
