KOTA KINABALU: Moyog Assemblyperson, Terence Siambun, wants the government especially the Ministry of Infrastructure Development to repair roads in the district’s rural areas.
He said several road upgrade projects in the district were halted due to the lack of allocation.
“The road condition for villages in the district is abysmal, with holes and puddles along the roads which were expected to be repaired by 5 November ago, but the allocation is not enough and has caused a major slowdown in completing the roads,” he added.
He was speaking during the Budget 2016 debate at the DUN Assembly.
Terence also calls for the government to listen to the plight of road users in Kg. Kondohon, Ramayah, where they ask for the road network there to be upgraded since it is an alternative route for several villages including Limbanak, Kituao, Sugud, Ramayah, and Nambazan. -SayangSabah
