KOTA KINABALU: Online entrepreneurs actively promoting their business in the social media may have never come face to face with their costumers and more comfortable to utilize Whatsapp and postal service to deliver their products.
The method, however, is deemed unsafe by some traders and careful costumers who don’t want to be cheated by irresponsible individuals.
But the situation has changed when 60 online entrepreneurs took part in the Raya Bazaar at Suria Sabah from 10 to 12 July.
The programme, organized by KK Legasi and open to visitors from 10.00am to 10.00pm, will give these entrepreneurs the golden opportunity to meet and get close with their costumers.
“The bazaar is to create the space for traders to interact more closely with their costumers, where previously they are limited to get in touch via phone, email, or social media,” said the organizing chairman, Irwan Iswandy.
According to him, various products including cosmetics, clothes, and jewelleries, are offered with huge discounts and prices by business owners who are mainly career housewives and graduates. -SayangSabah
