Man pleaded not guilty for possessing stolen items

KOTA KINABALU: A local man pleaded not guilty at the Magistrate Court, today, for  possessing stolen items.

Phang Kai Shen, 23, was accused of keeping one unit of Portable Wifi TM, Koss battery unit, CCTV decoder, one PC keyboard and a mouse, two Asus CPU, and a Brother printer owned by Well Machinery Company.

Phang allegedly committed the crime in front of Pharmaniaga Kolombong, Inanam, at 11.00am in 17 February.

If found guilty, he can be charged under Section 411 of the Penal Code which carries the punishment of up to five years jail, a fine, or both.

Magistrate Cindy Mc Juce Balitus set 29 March for the case mention and granted bail of RM3,000 by two local bailors.
