ALOR SETAR: – The body of an elderly man, believed to have died of a heart attack was found at a house in Taman Tiong here last night.
Nevertheless, there were blood and bite marks on Khor Kok Heng’s face when a police team arrived at the house about 7.30pm.
The bite marks were consistent with those inflicted by a dog. Khor, 61, had a pet dog in the house.
Kota Setar police deputy chief, Supt Rohana Omar said initial investigations revealed Khor died of a heart attack as a bottle containing medicine for the heart was found near the body.
“There were injuries on the face and we believe he might have been bitten by a dog,” she said, adding that the man regularly commuted to the house over the past year to carry out renovation work.
The case has been classified as sudden death and the remains sent to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital.- BERNAMA
