Maintain top notch management performance – MUSA

KOTA KINABALU – The Finance Ministry ‘s excellent performance should be emulated by other State Government department and agencies, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said today.

Musa stated that the ministry has an excellence achievement and performance in management rated by the Star Rating System (SSR)

“This is achieved with great efforts from the finance ministry and you should be proud,” he said in his speech at the launching of the State Finance Ministry’s ninth sports carnival at the Likas sports complex, here today.

Musa who is also the State Finance Minister hoped that all of the department and agencies under the finance ministry can at least achieved 4-star ratings in the SSR.

Meanwhile, Musa said that sports help to maintain physical and mental health.

“Sports is not a chore. It help to create healthy, active and productive individuals while promoting rapport and team spirit among participants,” he said.

In the carnival, twelve teams representing several departments and agencies under the ministry including Treasury Department, Sabah Development Bank Berhad, Sabah Credit Corporation, Sabah Air Aviation Sdn Bhd, Desa Plus Sdn Bhd, Progressive Insurance Berhad and Warisan Harta Sabah Sdn Bhd among others took part. – By Fizah Yusof/SayangSabah
