SANDAKAN: The youths must have a strategic and daring planning in venturing new opportunities which promise a lucrative return.

The government has prepared many business opportunities for the youths by giving out loans and setting up business funding scheme to encourage them to become entrepreneurs.

The youths are also urged not to give up easily in improving themselves through various entrepreneurship development programmes by the government, as announced by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Sekong State Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk Samsudin Yahya, said all the opportunities are offered for the youths below 30 years old.

Accordingtohim, the government has allocated a large fund in various ministries, including Ministery of Agriculture and Agro-Based industry, Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperative, and Consumerism, and Minsitry of Women, Community, and Family Development.

“Follow the steps of the successful entrepreneurs in and outside the country. Learn from their diligence and how they face failures in their business as it is not impossible to succeed if we know why we fail and how we can overcome it,” he said in his speech for the Peoples’ Assistance Programme (Membara) for Batu Sapi UMNO Skills and Career Month, here today.

Creativity and innovation are the keys for entrepreneurs to compete with products imported from other countries, he added. – SayangSabah
