KOTA KINABALU: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) youth and women movement have arranged series of fogging activities in selected residential areas and school vicinity in Likas as a preventive measures against dengue.
The fogging activity around schools were done during the school holiday period. This is to protect pupils from fumes.
LDP youth secretary David Ong, urged the local authority to ensure contractors clear dry leafs, trim grass and the trash filled drain regularly and to avoid stagnant water.
At the same time house owner are advised to keep their premises clean and clear debris, trash cans, plastic or flower pots or anything which may cause standing water and become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
LDP vice president Chin Shu Ying and its central deputy leader Glenna Wong also went down to the ground to oversee the fogging activities.-Sayangsabah
