He said KRT under the volunteer patrolling scheme (SRS) cooperates with Rela and JKKK to protect the safety of their villages.
“As a body that is set up by the government, KRT must play its role in giving assistance when the earthquake disaster occurred in Ranau early this month,” he said in his speech for officiating the Meet the Leader programme at Kg. Toboh Laut community hall.
The three-in-one programme also include Kaamatan thanksgiving and Info Rakyat 1Malaysia programmes, and attended by Sabah PBRS Youth Chief, Arthur Joseh Kurup, Pensiangan Constituency Liaison Chief Officer, Rayner Francis Udong, and JPNIN District coordinator, Vincent Lee.
Kurup said, as the eye and ear of the government, KRT needs to be steadfast and active in extending help, encouragement, and educating its members and the community. -SayangSabah
