KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA) committee members, led by chairman Jimmy Goh, paid a courtesy call on Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Teo Chee Kang here yesterday.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to invite Teo to KKJA’s annual Chinese New Year luncheon at Hakka Hall on February 28, 12 noon.
Present at the courtesy call were organizing chairman Yong Ted Phen, deputy chairman Situl Mintow, vice chairmen Kwan Sui Wan and Leopold Santos, treasurer Chuah Kim Huat, secretary Tang Pok Ngai, training officer Fung Ngee Chung and liaison officer Nancy Lai.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman is expected to grace the event and give away ang pows to children of members.
Guests will be entertained by lion dance, singing as well as performances brought to them by Sabah Vfm deejays.
