KKCCI committed in helping govt to develop Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI) will continue to support and work with the state government in developing the Sabah.

Its president, Datuk Micheal Lui Yen Sang, said they will encourage the public especially the Chinese communities in the state to give their support and cooperation to the government in order to overcome today’s challenges.

“KKCCI is receptive with the problems and issues related to the community, and will continue to set up cooperation for development and solve these problems for everyone’s interest,” he said during an event held at Dewan Hakka, Tanjung Lipat, yesterday.

He also thanked the state government for commitment and assistance in developing Chinese schools, temples, and organizing community activities in the state.

“We also extend our appreciation to the state government for appointing Datuk Yeo Boon Hai, who is the first mayor from the Chinese community for Kota Kinabalu,” he said.

KKCCI members attending the event were entertained with stage performance, lucky draw event, and also received ang pow. –SayangSabah
