KOTA KINABALU: The 9th Kota Kinabalu Jazz Festival will showcase various well-known international artists for its programme.
Kota Kinabalu Rotary Club (RCKK) President, Jack Ong, said the festival which being held from July 24 to 25 at Sutera Harbour will give unforgettable memories for the visitors.
Meanwhile, SPARKS President, Roger Wang, said the festival this year will introduce four new bands and international musicians, together with nine Malaysian artists for the concert.
“Malaysian TV host and celebrity, Daphne Iking, will return to host the concert,” he said in a press conference today.
Other artists to make their appearance are Bobby Taylor and Shun Ng from USA, Gugun Blues Shelter and The Rio Sidik Quartet from Indonesia, May Mow, Liyani Fizi and Faizul Sany from Malaysia.
Local artists including Suria Buskers, Quadro Forte, Headhunters, Eilvane Chieng, Prthaz band, and Supertonik from Labuan will also perform.
The festival starts from 7.00pm until 11.00pm.
Interested members of the public who wished to attend the concert can get their ticket at ticket counters around Kota Kinabalu priced RM100 per person for one night, and RM150 for two nights.
The festival also provide premium seats with RM1,000 for a table for six.
