KAPSA’s gesture of appreciation for Felicia

KENINGAU: Sabah Information Department Staff Club (KAPSA) presented an incentive to the Paralympic athlete, Felicia Mikat, 16, at her residence, today.

The club’s adviser, Dato’ Mohd Saidi Hj Sariah, said the initiative is one of the club’s social activities to help its members and community members who are in need.

“The initiative is a symbol of appreciation for the success of Felicia in making Sabah and Malaysia proud in the international stage.

“We hope that this initiative will also increase the commitment of Malaysians especially in Sabah to strive for achievements, just like Felicia.

“These young talents will not only bring along with them the name of Sabah but also Malaysia to the international level,” he said.

Felicia, from Tambunan, Sabah, won the 100m, 200m, and 400m for women T13 category (sight impairment) during the Para ASEAN Games 2015 in Singapore, recently.

Also present were Sabah Information Department Deputy Director cum KAPSA Vice Chairperson, Yunus Haji Saprin, and KAPSA committee members.- SayangSabah
