TENOM: Increase the security measures for the safety of public servants and communities, said the state Minister of Rural Development, Datuk Radin Malleh, to all district offices in the state, today.
He urged for the district office managements to update their Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) on security aspects to ensure safety in government premises.
He told reports when asked regarding on the murder case of a college student in Keningau last Monday.
District office management must also take the initiative to install CCTV in strategic locations for security control and observation in the building, he added.
“We sympathize with the tragedy on the student and her family; we understand the sacrifices made by the parents to raise and give education for the student.
“I am sure that the police will solve this case for the safety and harmony of the people in the state,” he said. – SayangSabah
